September 7, 2003 South Boston David qualified 7th and was passing the 5th place car when he got in some water on the track and spun ending his day.
October 5, 2003 Martinsville (Taco Bell 300)
David qualified 5th and ran in the top 10 the entire first half of the event.  After the half way restart, he was running 8th when he got caught up in a multi-car wreck that damaged the steering and he was unable to continue.
